The East Anglian Alliance Against Nuclear Power was a very active group seeking to resist the construction of Sizewell B nuclear power station. Several high-profile musicians and writers gave their services in support. The legal hearings were held at Snape Maltings, with a new footpath being created from the village to the Maltings site.
