- Typescript libretto with pencil annotations in several hands including Britten and Rosamund Strode, in a folder titled as Ethel's own file copy. Ethel Little was The Red House secretary at this time.
- Britten's Death in Venice file containing drafts, scenarios, libretto, and relevant correspondence with Myfanwy Piper. Includes a press cutting, projected dates for Death in Venice rehearsals and productions, handwritten notes and to-do lists by Britten and Myfanwy Piper, a seating plan for the Snape Maltings, a letter from the Royal Opera House with rehearsal and performance dates, photocopies of pages from La Musique Grecque by Theodore Reinach, provisional wardrobe breakdown and cast lists.
