Programme for the Forty-Fifth Season of the Promenade Concerts held at the Queen's Hall in London. Fifth concert (August 17th) includes the first London performance of Two Songs with String Orchestra from Les Illuminations (Marine and Being Beauteous), sung by Sophie Wyss. Programme consists of concert listings for entire Proms season (including a performance by Joan Cross on October 5th), and an advertisement for the BBC Symphony Orchestra Concerts.
