Programme for a performance of works by various composers with Britten (piano) and Pears (tenor). The programme included Britten's Fish in the Unruffled Lakes [song], As it is, plenty [from On this Island], The Ash Grove, Bonny Earl O'Moray [Folk Song Arrangements Vol. 1], Foggy Dew [Folk Song Arrangements Vol. 3], La Belle est au Jardin and Troupiaux [Folk Song Arrangements Vol. 2]. The concert was the Third Concert in a Series arranged by the Society of Friends for Friends War Relief Service at the Friends House, Euston Road, London. The programme also contains information about the Friends War Relief Service, and an invitation to contribute to its funds.
There is a note to says that the words of Dichterliebe were translated into English by Iris Holland Rogers and found on a sheet issued to the audience when they entered the Hall (this does not survive).
