16 Apr 1943
Programme for a Friends War Relief Service concert at the Grammar School at Lutterworth, Leicestershire. Works by various composers were performed, with Peter Pears singing tenor and Olive Zorian playing violin, including Britten's arrangements of The King is Gone a-Hunting, Love's Garden, Heigh-ho, Heigh-hi [Folk Song Arrangements Vol. 2]. There was also a short statement on the work of the FWRS in the interval, and an invitation to donate money.
There is a mispelling in the programme: the composer Moeran is printed as 'Shoeran'.
