Letter regarding the auction sale at Christies which was held on 21 March to raise funds for the Aldeburgh Festival Appeal. Addressed to 'My Dear Elizabeth' it is a letter of thanks to all the artists, sculptors, writers, composers and musicians, collectors and galleries who helped to raise over £12, 000 for the appeal.
