Conversion work is now in hand at Snape Maltings and will be complete in the autumn of 1978 which will provide urgently needed teaching and practice accommodation for The Britten-Pears School for Advanced Musical Studies.
An Appeal in memory of Benjamin Britten for £245,000 'to finish the job' was launched in London on 18 April.
