The Aldeburgh Music Club was formed in 1952 for local musicians, amateur and professional, to meet together to make music. Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears were founder members. This photograph shows Britten rehearsing Schubert's Quintet in C with other Club members at his home, Crag House, in Aldeburgh.
