The file also includes correspondence from Arthur Harrison of The Incorporated Association of Preparatory Schools and The Decca Record Company Ltd, as well as a recording timetable for A Midsummer Night's Dream with the London Symphony Orchestra.
Herdman conducted the Downside Preparatory School choir which Britten uesd in the 1966 Decca recordings of Psalm 150, Friday Afternoons and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
The file includes letters concerning all three of these works, orchestral requirements, rehearsals and the recordings as well as the Maltings fire.
