DescriptionElizabeth Coleman, known as Betty, had her own puppet theatre: Troubadour Puppets. She toured Africa and Britain and in the 1960s worked as wardrobe mistress for the AP Films productions of Fireball XL5, Stingray and Thunderbirds . These three photos feature African characters and she has made a note on the back of one: 'The African Witch/ Doctor./ (Rod & Glove Puppet.) / with love/ Betty.'
