1949-1951
Photographs from an unidentified, possibly Shakespearian, production from the time that Basil Coleman spent as producer with the company over two seasons from 1949 to 1951. Actors performing in gowns, robes, doublet and hose with one actress in a nun's habit are on a set built to represent an ivy clad stone building with tall windows. The Company presented their productions at four venues: College Theatre, Coventry; Co-operative Hall, Nuneaton; Arts Centre, Netherton and Palace Theatre, Redditch.
