These eight photographs from Britten's opera were taken of the Sadler's Wells Opera production produced by Basil Coleman at Oxford on 23 Apr 1963. The designer was Alan Tagg; the conductor was Meredith Davies. Performers shown include Ronald Dowd as Peter Grimes, Elizabeth Fretwell as Ellen Orford, Harry Mossfield as Balstrode and Peter Mills as the Boy.
