Basil Coleman was the director of Opera North's production of Richard Wagner's Flying Dutchman. It was performed at the Grand Theatre, Leeds 31 Oct-10 Nov 1979. The cast included Peter Glossop as The Dutchman, Arlene Saunders as Senta, Paul Hudson as Daland and Robert Ferguson as Erik. David Lloyd-Jones was the conductor and Robin Don the designer.
