Many of the photos were already arranged into envelopes with annotations and labels by Imogen Holst. Where possible, this arrangement ha been maintained. Where the annotated envelopes give further information, the have been retained.

Imogen Holst gave some original photographs to the Holst Birthplace Museum in Cheltenham. A list of photographs held at Cheltenham, as well as copies of some of them, are held in this collection.
