Papers of Imogen Holst including music manuscripts, published music, scrapbooks, correspondence, engagement diaries, journals and travel diaries, programmes, press cuttings, photographs, personal items, articles, programme notes, lectures, broadcasts, office files, publications files, books and recordings.
Imogen Holst used coloured cardboard folders to organise her papers into bundles. These folders were often bulky and/or torn. Wherever possible we have maintained Imogen Holst's filing system and kept items organised in one folder together. In most cases the folder label has been cut out and packaged with the items, and the folder has been destroyed.
